Kartell is a very famous Italian furniture design company.

It was founded in 1949 by Giulio Castelli, a chemical engineer who graduated gaining the “Nobel Natta award”, and started business by producing plastic articles: first of all car accessoriesm later turning to household goods, laboratory articles and lamps.
The history of Kartell’s products and the Company’s identity are described in a Museum in a tour consisting of more than 1000 objects displayed in chronological order over a surface area of approximately 2000 square metres.
